common complication that can arise during a spay is that the animal
is in heat. Neither the client nor the doctor may know that an animal
is in heat, until the doctor is about to perform the procedure. When an animal is in heat, the animal’s reproductive organs and the blood vessels surrounding the organs swell and become engorged with blood. Making the procedure more difficult because of the size and fragility of the procedure. |
